Richard Garfield has practiced architecture 50 years: In Boston, working for Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson and Abbott, and on Boston City Hall; In Philadelphia, working for Louis I. Kahn; In Dhaka, Bangla Desh and in Kathmandu, Nepal, representing Kahn and working for the Ford Foundation, The U.S. Government, and the Kingdom of Nepal. In Oregon, he taught architecture at the University of Oregon, was director of architecture for DMJM / Hilton and president of Garfield-Hacker Architects, building at OHSU, Tektronix, Intel and museum sites in Oregon, Montana, Arizona and California. In 1995 Richard joined RIGGA to make sculpture, public art, installations and architecture. He is a founding member of rhiza A+D
